Got a call from someone claiming to be Royal Mail saying I needed to pay a little fee for a parcel. I’m not waiting for any packages, so it’s obvious a scam to try and get my bank details. They didn’t even sound legit - like they had no clue about proper postage or anything. Definitely dodgy!

I recieved a message claimin i'd missed a package from Hermes, and it said I had to follow a link to arrange another delivery and make a payment. That sounded off cause Hermes doesn't charge for rearranging deliveries. Plus, most of the options on the site they linked to didn’t work right, and it wasn't even Hermes' real website, just a dodgy copycat that looked almost the same.

Since I’m waiting for something, I looked on the Royal Mail app but there was no alert or anything. Also, genuine Royal Mail texts usually show the sender as “Royal Mail” rather than just a random number. Seems dodgy to me.
