The moment we recognised the situation for what it was, we switched into defensive mode. We made it clear that she hadn't actually called us, but before we could even complete our thought, she hung up. Quite the situation, really.10 yearsI suspect we've encountered a scam here. It seems these individuals falsely claimed to have spoken to us about an advertising project just six days prior. Once we caught on to their dubious tactics, we quickly went on the offensive. We informed the caller that they had not reached us previously, but before we could elaborate, they abruptly hung up.
