we got a TRUE CALL 46000 phone from BT and honestly it’s the best thing we ever did, just set it up right and all those scam calls don’t stand a chance, the phone hardly even rings now! everyone should get one for sure.

Then they wanted to know if I pay for the line by direct debit. When I told them it was a business number, they just hung up straight away. I got calls from this number thrice between about 8:10 and 9:15 this morning. I picked up the first call, but the person speaking had really bad English and said something about the telephone preference service. I couldn’t catch much more and just said thanks and ended the call. I tried to block the number after that. When they rang again, I went to check if I’d actually blocked them, but found out I wasn’t even given the option to block it. How on earth are they managing to avoid that?

This number has called me about 5 times since yesterday morning. Today, they rang my phone at 7.05am and I quickly picked up, worried something might have happened to my gran. Most of the time it’s some sort of automated message saying goodbye, or a person with an Asian accent claiming to be from the telephone preference service asking if I still get unwanted calls. I just hang up straight away. The same callers also use this number: 01227 22015412. I keep blocking them but they keep ringing, and my caller ID always shows “international unavailable.” It’s honestly such a bad hassle.

I’ve been getting calls from this number pretty much all day, starting early morning and going on till late at night. They just call, say nothing, then hang up. Later, they ring again, claiming to be from "Telephone Preference Management," asking if I’m bothered by unwanted calls and then try to get my card info to supposedly stop them. I just cut the call off. It’s not the first time either, must be the second or third time they’ve rung me with different numbers. Honestly, they’re a right nuisance, makes me wonder what salary they get for bothering people like this.
