Got a call from some automated lady claiming she was from my bank’s security team. She said £120 had been withdrawn for a train ticket from Edinburgh to London and told me to press 1 if I had made the purchase. Even though I suspected it was dodgy, I went ahead and pressed 1. After that, an American-sounding automated bloke came on and said they had some more questions to ask. I didn’t wait around - hung up straight away because I was sure they were just after my bank info.
