Back again with those dodgy calls from India - charged £120 for a train ticket from Edinburgh to London, which I'd never booked with my card before... yet I've had 12 calls like this just in the past month! I hit 2 to get through to the "City police" and got a guy with an Indian accent on a really scratchy line who said thanks for ringing the City police. I asked him if he realised pretending to be a police officer is illegal? He replied, "How do you know I’m not the police?" I told him I'm actually a police officer and we don’t run call centres overseas. Then he just cut me off.
