Got a call earlier from a number I didn’t know, picked up and there was a woman’s voice with an English accent on an automated message. She said she was from my bank’s security team, told me there’d been a suspicious £120 debit on my account for train tickets from Edinburgh to London that morning. The message went on with the typical stuff about it being unusual and to press 1 to verify. I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.
