I got a call on my landline from some recorded voice claiming to be from my bank or card company. The message said someone tried to buy a train ticket from London to Edinburgh using my card, but it wasn’t a purchase I’d made before. They told me to press 1 to confirm it was me or 2 to talk to the city police. I just ended the call straight away, since my bank only ever contacts me on my mobile, never my landline.
