I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent and a really dodgy line, who introduced herself as "Susan" claiming to be from BT about some broadband problems. After a weird silence, I told her I told some "David" to piss off earlier today at 07:54, who called from 07983173103 - maybe these scam folks should communicate better. She just dropped the call. Pretty obvious con to me, especially since I use satellite internet, so BT or Openreach wouldn’t have any way to check my connection.
