I got a call from someone with a really posh British accent, saying my National Insurance number was involved in a bunch of dodgy stuff like money laundering, and that it’d be frozen unless I acted fast. They told me to hit 1 to chat with an official and stop it from being suspended. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.
