I answered the call but they ended it right away. After reading the stuff here, it definitely seems fishy.

I don’t recognise the number at all. They asked for my new address but only had the old one listed. Be careful with calls like this! I just hung up in the end.

Got a recorded message saying it was from our broadband company saying there was an issue with our connection, which wasn’t true at all. It’s a scam, trying to get you to press a button on your phone. Don’t touch any keys, just end the call straight away. If you do press a button, you might end up on a very expensive premium line (could be like £10 a minute) or get put through to someone trying to trick you into giving money or personal details. I’ve blocked the number now.
