My phone rang a moment ago from this number, and it turned out to be a pre-recorded message by a man claiming to be from the National Crime Agency. He said I was about to be arrested over some suspicious activity linked to my National Insurance Number. They told me to press 1 if I wanted to talk to an advisor. They never once used my name or mentioned my NI number though. It felt pretty intimidating, so I just hung up straight away. I guess some folk might find it quite scary if they got this call.
