I picked up my EE home phone because the number showed up looking like a normal mobile, complete with my own area code and digits. After a brief pause, an Asian guy started talking - can't quite recall the exact words but it was something like, “Good morning Ma’am, I’m calling from EE about services…”. I cut him off pretty quick, probably should’ve heard him out, and told him I don’t take these calls from companies like that. He just ended the call straight away. Feels like it was a scam, even though my partner has been in touch with EE before over something specific.
