I keep getting these dodgy automated calls saying things like "there’s been unusual activity on your card - £100 to Amazon and an £800 bank transfer - we haven’t seen this from you before. Press 1 to speak to an advisor or to reject the transaction." Loads of times I’ve just hung up straight away. But this time, after a break from them, I got one the same day I added a new card to my Amazon and made a small payment to test it. It's clear how folks could easily be freaked out and respond to these. I didn’t fall for it, though I did let Amazon know about it.
