Got a call from someone claiming to be Paul Watson from BT, said he was calling about my internet. He spoke with a US Mid-Atlantic accent, which seemed off. I told him I don’t even use BT, and asked what he wanted. He then got a bit snarky, asking how I check my emails if I’m not with them. I said I access work emails via a secure connection. After that, he went silent and I could hear loads of noise, like a call centre in the background, then the call just dropped. Bit odd if you ask me.
