Some bloke rang me claiming to be from Amazon, saying I needed to update my Amazon Prime payment of £7.99. He also sent a text with a reference number to ‘reset’ my account, which sounded pretty convincing. I told him I’d ring back later, and only then he let me off the call. Turns out it’s a scam - Amazon confirmed they never phone about your account like that. Honestly, just hang up and block the number if you get a call like this.

Didn’t pick up since I didn’t recognise the number, and they didn’t even bother to leave a voicemail. Feels like just another annoying call.
