Got a call recently from a number 07980 342471 claiming to be from Domestic And General, telling me our washing machine warranty had ended. But since we only replaced ours last November when the new kitchen went in, I was pretty sure it was a con. They tried to sell me 18 months coverage for £99. Out of interest, I asked when exactly we bought the machine, and as soon as I asked, the line went dead. Seems like a dodgy trick cause most folks probably wouldn’t remember the exact date either. Just thought I’d warn everyone.
