I picked up and there was this robotic voice saying something like “HMRC has opened a criminal case against you for not paying your taxes.” It was proper strange.

I got a call from 07980 076773 and when I picked up, there was this robot voice saying just “thank you for calling” over and over, like four times, then it just ended the call. They didn’t say who they were or any company name at all. Pretty weird!

My spam filter stopped a call from this number and left a message warning me to press one or face legal trouble. Feels very dodgy to me, probably some sort of scam.

Looks like spam to me. Didn’t pick up the call, but the WhatsApp profile pic they had was obviously stolen from Google images. I’d just block and report them.
