Never heard this one before, but I just got a call claiming to be from “THE NATIONAL CRIME SQUAD” saying my NINO was involved in some criminal activity. They told me to press 1 to speak to an officer or face arrest. Absolutely ridiculous, so naturally I pressed 1, and oh boy, what followed was beyond belief - can’t even put it into words here. Wish I’d known earlier, so watch out for this scam!
