So, I got a call from some city council lot asking if I’d be around next week to watch some work on an old soil stack at this block of flats nearby. The odd thing was they rang me on my mobile, which feels a bit off, right? From where I’m standing, anyone pretending to be from the council could show up at my door with some dodgy ID on a lanyard - totally sketchy. Just a heads up, watch out for this kind of nonsense coming your way soon. Be careful, check who they really are before letting them in. They sometimes come in pairs too - you get what I mean!
