Got a message from this number saying I’d approved a £240 payment, with a link to some ‘online banking’ page to cancel it by entering my details. Seemed fishy, so I logged into my bank account myself and saw no such transaction had gone through. Right after that, my bank popped up a warning about fake texts being sent to HSBC clients about unauthorised payments. Definitely looks like a scam trying to steal your info.
