Got a text off 07979599804 dated 21/02/2025 claiming to be from "The Welfare Department" saying I missed my winter fuel allowance application. Said the DWP can’t pay me £300 unless I fill out a form through their link. Nah, no way! The DWP never uses mobile texts like that, they always send letters. Also, I’m not even eligible for that payment. Total scam, don’t fall for it! Scam alert all the way!
