I got a call from some muppet pretending to be from the National Crime Agency. Honestly, don’t hand over any info. The NCA wouldn’t ring you up about your National Insurance or money stuff like that. If you’re in trouble with the law, the cops usually team up with other agencies, and you’d hear from them properly, not some dodgy caller. You’re under no obligation to chat with anyone on the phone, it’s not against the law to hang up. Let the police or official folks come to your place if needed, but don’t fall for these scams.
