Got a text claiming to be from the UK Government telling me to click a link to apply for winter payments before 11 October. They said they'd inform me if I'm eligible. The message ended by thanking me as a UK CITIZEN. The fact it came from a mobile number and the link didn’t say UK GOV . COM made me suspicious. Seriously, don’t put your personal info into sketchy links like this, folks. It’s very unlikely to be legit.
