They didn’t leave any voicemail after ringing.

I’ve had this number ring me loads of times, saying they’re from SKY and offering a refund on my mum’s account. Thing is, she passed away recently and her account’s been frozen. Felt pretty weird getting those calls.

Someone called saying they were from BT’s tech support, but there was loads of noise in the background and it didn’t sound genuine at all. I just hung up straight away.

Got a call at about half six in the morning from a recorded voice claiming to be Amazon, saying there was some suspicious activity on my account. They told me to press 1 for more info or something like that. Mentioned purchases over £700, which would seriously freak out anyone who’s just woken up and doesn’t know it’s a scam.
