Got a text from this number saying it was a message from the DWP, official reminder or something. They called it a Heating allowance but actually it’s the Winter Fuel Payment. The message claimed I hadn’t applied for the 2024-2025 Winter Heating Allowance and that I needed to fill out the form by 27 June 2025 to get £300. It even had a dodgy link and told me to reply Y and then open the link again or copy it into my browser. Honestly, dont fall for it - this is a total scam. Ignores it and dont click on anything!
