When I picked up the phone, there was a recorded message claiming to be from HMRC. Since I’m aware that the tax office does use automated calls sometimes, I decided to just end the call quickly. Right after I hung up, the message talked about tax evasion which seemed really suspicious. I’ve gone ahead and reported it as a cyber scam.
