Just got a call from this number. Like others, it was an Indian bloke telling me my credit score was falling due to debt issues. When I asked what debts, he mentioned catalogue debts (none here), credit cards (I don’t have any), payday loans (never had one), and overdrafts (I do have one). Told him the only debts are mortgage and overdraft, then he asked how much overdraft I had! I said it was enough, but he kept pushing for the exact figure - when I refused, I ended the call. Blocked the number and he’s tried ringing again since.

Just got a call from a bloke saying my credit rating was dropping because I supposedly owed money. I told him I don’t owe anything. Then he asked if I had a credit card, I said no, and mentioned I checked my credit report last week and it was all good. He said maybe he had the wrong details and then ended the call.

This number rang me up saying my credit rating was dropping 'cos of my debts, but when I asked which ones, they couldn’t give me a straight answer. So I said, how do you even know it’s my debts dragging down my score? Give me proper facts. It’s a bit of a laugh dealing with calls like these. For instance, another time someone called about PPI, I told them I’ve no credit cards, loans, or mortgages, and if I needed cash, I’d just nick it from a bank instead. Usually that puts a stop to them ringing back. Just a tip: DON’T GET ANGRY, GET CRAFTY!!!!!
