Got a call from someone claiming to be with Virgin Media. I’d just cancelled my service with them, and this was just another pushy call trying to sell me some kind of deal. They wouldn’t accept my refusal, so I just ended the call.

Honestly, I couldn't catch exactly where he claimed to be calling from, maybe I misheard him. He was trying to sell me some kind of offer. I told him multiple times I wasn’t interested, but he just wouldn’t take the hint and kept pushing more forcefully each time. After a few rounds of that, I finally just ended the call - definitely something I should have done much sooner!

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent asking about my Sky TV. I don’t even have Sky! Didn’t say a word, just hung up straight away and put them on block.

Some guy called from an Indian call centre claiming to be from Allen at Sky in the UK. When I asked him to tell me again what the call was about, he just hung up on me.

some bloke claimed he was with uk broadcasting and said it was just a quick call to check on my sky service. i told him i don’t actually have sky and that i’m on the do not call list, so i ended the chat nicely.
