Got a call on 21st Feb 22 at 11:21, some pre-recorded message by a woman with an American accent claiming she was from HMRC. She said there were problems with my last tax return and I might get a big fine if it wasn’t sorted. Kept telling me to press a button to talk to someone. I hung up straight away. The phrases used sounded really American and it didn’t feel right for the UK, but she did say she was from HMRC.
