Got a call saying it was from National Insurance, telling me my number was about to be suspended and to press 1 to connect. Yeah, right. They rang me twice, and it sounds like some sort of auto-dialler. If you don’t pick up or say anything when you answer, it just cuts off, so I guess it’s waiting for you to respond before a robotic voice kicks in. Totally dodgy and clearly just a scam trying to catch people out.
