Today, I got another call from the same woman who rang me yesterday but from a different number (07460024660). She said she was ringing from Microsoft in Reading, Berkshire, and told me my computer was being misused by "foreigners" illegally. She claimed Microsoft would completely lock my device unless I typed in a code she gave me, which I reckon would have let her control it. According to her, if my computer got blocked, I'd need to take it right into Reading to fix it. When she noticed I wasn't doing what she said, she got really mad and started shouting, then abruptly hung up on me.
