Got a call from some automated voice that sounded proper rubbish - like one of those nasty robot ones, worse than Stephen Hawking’s voice if you ask me. The message said something about receiving a letter from His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs. Pretty clear this was a scam though, since I’m not even on HMRC’s register, and my tax account is actually in credit (they pay interest, about 4%, when you pay early). Just hung up straight away. Best to just ignore these dodgy calls.
