Got a call from a number I didnt recognise, but when I answered there was nothing on the other end. Just hung up straight away. Pretty sure it was one of those scam calls.

Got a call this morning at 8am from someone asking for my mum, but she passed away about 8 years back. It was quite upsetting to hear. I told them she’s no longer with us and they just ended the call straight away. These calls need to be stopped. Please do something, thanks.

I got a call from these annoying people at half past seven in the morning and as soon as I picked up, they just hung up. Lucky break there! There’s gotta be some way to put an end to these constant botherings. We’re an elderly couple in our 80s living up here in Central Scotland.

I tend to not pick up my phone straight away. Instead, I check the voicemail first and only call back if I know who it is. Most times, pesky callers give up quickly. Sometimes if you hold on for a bit, you can catch loads of background noise - makes it seem like a busy office to get you to respond. Or there’s a bunch of scammers chatting away on other lines, trying to fool folks into handing over private details or cash!

On the 3rd of December at 15:03 hours, I received a phone call from the number 07974858468. The caller's voice was quiet, making it difficult for me to understand what they were saying. However, when I tried to engage in conversation, there was no response, leading me to suspect that it may have been a recorded message. Eventually, they hung up the call.

The individual who called claimed that they needed to inspect my computer, but I informed them that I do not possess one. As a result, the caller promptly ended the conversation. It is evident that this call did not originate from the United Kingdom.

Got a call from 07974858468 on the 3rd Dec at about 3:03pm. The voice on the line was really hard to make out, sounded all quiet and unclear. When I tried to talk, there was no reply, so I reckon it might’ve been some sort of automated message? Ended up just hanging up.
