Got a call around 9:50 this morning from a guy with an Asian accent claiming to be from Virgin Media. He said there were issues with my internet. Didn’t buy it for a second and just ended the call. Totally felt like a scam.

Got a call at 7:45 in the morning, picked up but the other side just ended it straight away, then they rang back a couple of minutes after and hung up again. Quite odd.

Got a call from someone named Teresa claiming to be from Microsoft, talking about issues with my computer. I stopped listening pretty quickly though. Seems like a total scam to me.

Got a call from a man speaking with a thick Indian accent, there was that typical call centre chatter in the background. Definitely a scam, so I just blocked the number straight away.

Got a robotic voice saying MY AMAZON PRIME MEMBERSHIP HAS EXPIRED or something like that. Didn’t bother listening, just ended the call and blocked the number.

I had a ring from this number, 07974 813999, on our home phone earlier. Strangely, the line went silent after about ten seconds. This isn’t the first time we've encountered this number; it’s the second occasion, and both times there was complete quiet on the other end. Curious situation indeed!

Got a call saying they were from my bank, saying there were two dodgy transactions on my account - one for £240 and the other £1200. They told me to press 1 to talk to someone about it. I hung up straight away and rang my bank myself, who said it was a total scam. I've blocked the number now.
