Got a call from a woman claiming to be from BT saying my internet was running slow and to test my speed. After I checked, she told me to download an app from the store. I told her I wasn’t putting any apps on my phone and the line got cut straight away.

I got a call from a woman claiming to be with BT, asking if I used the internet. When I said no, she just ended the call. Had loads of dodgy calls today, so I'm guessing this was just another scam.

I got a robo call telling me there was a £299 Amazon payment and a £1000 foreign charge made on my account. Seemed fishy so I just ended the call straight away. Definitely a scam.

From what others have said, it looks like a scam. Someone left a message on my voicemail but all I heard was coughing, which left me scratching my head about who it might have been. Proper annoying.

Got a call on my landline from a mobile number 07974762120, I think it was from Glasgow, on the morning of 2nd December 2023 around 9.30. There was this automated lady’s voice talking about something to do with Amazon, which is strange cos I’ve never shopped online at all. I ended up shouting “stop calling me, you scammer!” These kinds of calls are just annoying and super obvious.

Got a call from an Asian guy earlier, said he was with Sky’s refund team and wanted my bank info and all that. Seemed dodgy to me.

I received a phone call from a man who had an Asian accent, claiming to be part of the BT Technical Support team. He mentioned that there had been some issues with my internet connection for the past three days. It was clearly one of those typical scams associated with BT, where they try to gain access to your computer. The line quality wasn't great either; it was in dire need of its own technical fix!

Got a call today from a bloke with a really thick Asian accent claiming to be from the BT Tech Team. He said there had been issues with my internet for the past 3 days, but honestly, nothing's gone wrong here. I asked him if he was really with BT then why was his line so rubbish and crackly? That left him speechless! I finished by joking about what the weather was on his planet. Proper classic BT internet scam if you ask me.

Got a call from some bloke with a strange accent, wouldn’t say what it was about. Told him my missus was in hospital and he just said he’d call back later! Blocked the number straight away. This is the second dodgy call in just thirty minutes. Wondering if it’s because I still use a landline - not many folks have one these days. Normally wouldn’t pick up but was expecting an important call.
