This evening, I got a call from 07974699179 on my landline. I didn't pick up, but a robotic voice left a message claiming to be from BT, telling me to press 1 or 2. I didn't press anything! I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

This number called me at 10:42 am on 1st Dec 2023 but I couldn't pick up. They didn’t say anything. Likely they’ll try again later, they do that all the time.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she’s from BT’s tech support - knew right away it was a scam!

Said they were from my internet provider saying there was an issue they'd noticed. The call sounded noisy and like it was from some Indian call centre... they ended the call pretty fast.

Got a call from this number today, some bloke claiming to be from Microsoft saying my PC had issues. I told him my mate works at Microsoft and assured me they never ring customers out of the blue. He just ended the call straight away after that.

Somebody rang saying they're with Virgin Media and that someone was trying to get into my internet. I just said, "That must be you then!" and they cut the call straight away!
