I had a distressing experience with a persistent lady who had an Indian accent and background noise resembling a call center. Got a call from a number I didn't recognise but it didn’t leave any voicemail, so I’m guessing it was just another scam. After reading through what others said about their experiences, it really seems like a scam call. They mentioned something about Amazon emails, but I never get calls from them, plus I don’t even use a Microsoft PC, so they wouldn’t have got anywhere with me. I just don’t answer when it’s a number I don’t know - they’re almost always dodgy.

Got a call with noone speaking, probably just some scammers trying their luck.

07974686798 tried pulling a scam on me, said my internet account got hacked or something. Told him to get lost, and he started calling me names! Ended up yelling back into the phone, proper funny how it cheered me up, haha. Made me feel a bit better having a good rant at the tosser!

Someone rang me up saying they were from MICROSOFT. As soon as I told them I don’t own a laptop or a computer, they just hung up straight away. Watch out, this is definitely a scam!

Got a call on my home phone from this number. Some robot voice saying it was from the visa fraud team at "my bank", warning me about a £900 purchase online. Said to press 1 to cancel or something like that. Proper dodgy scam, watch out!

Got a call from a number I don't have saved, expecting something about government grants. But then an automated voice said it was from Amazon. I hung up straight away since I haven't bought anything from them in ages and don't even have Prime. Pretty sure it was one of those scam calls trying to get me to pay fake customs charges or something related to a Prime account I don't have. Blocked the number immediately!

I got a call from this number earlier today. A woman with what sounded like a foreign accent claimed to be from Microsoft, mentioning something about my Microsoft account. I just ended the call straight away.
