Got a call from this number claiming I owed money, which is rubbish. They actually knew my name. Told them I'm not interested and to remove me from their list, and the bloke just laughed and said he’d call back tomorrow! Probably from another number as well. I’ll block it and ignore, but I feel sorry for elderly people who might not have the same phone setup - they’re the ones getting hit hard by these dodgy firms. Best just don’t pick up!

Got a call from an Asian bloke who asked for me by my name. When I asked what it was about, he said something about unsecured credit card debts. Told him he’d got the wrong person, then he just hung up. Never give these people any info, you’ve no idea who they really are or if they’re legit. If you get a call like that, just block the number and don’t take the bait. They could be some dodgy outfit trying to trick you and steal your cash. There’s loads of these calls going round at the moment.

Got a call and the person asked for me by name, so I asked what it was about. They said it was about debts, but I told them they had the wrong person and they just hung up. Honestly, never share any info with callers like this because you have no idea who they really are or if they’re genuine. If you get a call from this number, block it and don’t take the bait. Got two calls from this number, first on the 7th of October saying they were from Citizens Advice, wanting to talk about my debt situation. I don’t have any debts, so that was suspicious right away. Then they called again on the 8th, this time saying they were from the Credit Investigation Department. Definitely a scam trying to get bank info. It was the same bloke both times. I told him I was a police officer and asked for his name, then he just cut off. DO NOT SHARE ANY INFO, THIS IS A FRAUD!
