Got a call claiming to be from Virgin Media saying my account was hacked by someone in California. They asked me to install Anydesk so they could help me get rid of the hackers. I was a bit suspicious and said I needed some sort of ID or proof they were legit. Then they put me through to a manager who promised to show some kind of verification once I had the app and code ready. I was still not convinced and before I could say more, they just ended the call.
