My mum still uses an old Nokia and keeps getting these calls. If it was on my iPhone I could just block them easily, but she really needs to get in touch with EE about it. It really frustrates me how easy it is for folks to get hassled like this, it’s just not fair. If you’re getting these calls, definitely reach out to your provider. And if you have an iPhone, at least save the number and block it to stop them bothering you.

Got several missed calls from this number and finally picked up the last one. The person on the line had a name I couldn't quite catch and said they were from a company I’d never heard of. They wanted to send me some paperwork to get a refund from a bank, but wouldn’t say which bank it was. When I asked how they got my details, they claimed it was from their HR team. I didn’t want to answer when they asked my age, and they just ended the call. I’ve blocked the number now. Honestly, don’t bother answering unless you want a bit of fun stringing them along.

#update# I've not picked up before, but saw missed calls on my 02 mobile at 11:47 and 12:12 on 10 May 2019. Then I got another call at 12.29 and this time I answered. The man said he was ringing on behalf of “PCC,” which he said means “Priority Claims Company”. He told me they’re sending me some papers about PPI and started to check my address. I told him I don’t live there any more, which is true, and asked nicely for them to delete my details from their system. The man apologised for disturbing me and wished me a nice day.
