The caller seemed to have some of my personal info, which made me a bit uneasy. I told him I wasn’t looking to buy any extra insurance, but he insisted he wasn’t trying to sell anything, just checking if my coverage was adequate. When the call was wrapping up, he said he’d connect me to an advisor. The woman who came on tried to push extra cover on me but got pretty annoyed when I made it clear I’d never share my bank details over the phone.

Most of the time, they ring me up pushing some life insurance upgrade, but once they said they spoke to my aunt the day before about her policy and she gave them my contact. Thing is, my aunt died ages ago, so I know for sure these folks are just scammers. It’s terrible how they make up stories like that, such low lives.
