I got a call from someone claiming they were with EE. They told me to ring 150 or use the EE app because I supposedly had an outstanding balance. Since they directed me to 150, which I know is EE’s number, I figured it was really EE calling.

Today, 14/4/2025, got a call from 07973 100619 but I didn’t pick up. The caller ID showed "EE GUIDE CALLING" or something like that, which I have no clue about. I’m with EE for mobile but never heard of any guide service, and I’ve got no broadband or bookings with them. My account is all paid up, nothing outstanding. So honestly, not sure what the call was about. No voicemail was left either.

They claimed to be calling from EE. Then mentioned they’d send me a pin to confirm my identity?? They did send a pin but I have no clue why they were actually calling or if it was legit. Absolutely no chance I was gonna hand over a one-time pin to someone who might be trying to scam me under EE’s name. I pay through direct debit, so a missed payment is impossible.

Got called out of nowhere with some pushy sales spiel.

This caller said they were from EE, which owns Plusnet, and they confirmed I was the account holder by asking me some security details like my last bill amount, date, and username. So, I guess it’s legit. They didn’t ask for any credit card info or passwords though.

Got two calls from this number today. Couldn't really make out the company they said. The second time I answered by accident. A guy with a strange accent knew my name but kept interrupting me in a really rude way, so I just ended the call. I'd recommend you just don't pick up if this number rings!
