Somebody rang me saying they worked for BT. They said my IP had switched from private to public, making my phone and laptop an easy target for scammers. Seemed like they were trying to get into my gadgets, claiming they’d fix the IP issue. I played the clueless old woman bit to stall them, and eventually they gave up, telling me not to stress because they'd sort it out themselves, then hung up.
