This number messaged my aunt pretending to be Sarah, saying she was in hospital with a broken leg and asking for a phone credit top-up. The real Sarah had been offline for a bit, so her whole family started ringing hospitals, panicked. The scammers managed to get the top-up, but honestly we're not bothered about the cash as much as how upset everyone, especially our older relatives, were. It's awful that stuff like this happens and really ought to be put an end to.

This call really upset our family. Sarah was in Cardiff General - not the actual hospital name, but it’s where she was. I didn’t have much money on me, so I sent over £10. The whole thing was really stressful for us.

Got a text from someone called "sarah" saying she’d injured her leg, broken her tibia and fibia, asking for a favour. Didn’t know the number, so I just blocked it straight away.

Got a text saying my mate in hospital needs a £20.00 02 top-up. The number was from an orange phone, and when I called back, no one picked up. I asked for their address to be sure, but never got a response. Felt like a right scam to me.

Tried calling a few times but no answer, and when I asked some personal stuff back via text, they just ignored it. Felt pretty dodgy if you ask me.
