Got a call from 07971553372 on the 12th April 2024. It was this weird prerecorded message from a woman with an American accent telling me to get in touch with HMRC. She said if I didn’t press 1, I could get arrested and even sent to jail or something like that? Totally strange considering it was a US voice talking about a UK tax thing. Naturally, I didn’t press anything and the call just dropped off. Really odd experience!
