I reckon the person on the other end liked hearing my voice, they kept saying hello a good few times but I didn’t pick up. Could hear office noises in the background. Anyway, another one BLOKED!

He asked me about my debt and I said £3,000. After that, he kept yelling every time he spoke to me. He kept insisting that I had to clear the debt. I told him I’m already dealing with another debt company. He kept calling me 2 or 3 times weekly from his firm and said the same stuff to the other advisors. Then he started shouting again, saying I must pay it off. I got fed up and just hung up.

I've received one of those bothersome calls, and I'd suggest you just block the number. They're unlikely to leave a voicemail, as their message is essentially nonexistent. Apparently, they claim to be a debt collection agency... but frankly, I doubt they have anything of importance to communicate.

Woman on the phone with a strong Indian accent, saying she’s from the "Financial Advice Bureau" - it’s not the first time they’ve called me, but the person on the other end changes each time. I keep telling them to quit calling and take me off their call list, but they always cut me off mid-sentence by hanging up. This time I warned them I’d report their harassment, and I’ve actually done it.

They claimed to be calling from some 'Financial Advice' centre (that’s exactly what they said). Kept pestering me about debts and pushing some government approved IVA thing. We ended up in a bit of a debate since I was bored and thought I’d mess about with them for a while. The reason you can’t get through if you try to call back is cos it’s a VOIP number (they use internet-based numbers, which scammers often rely on). Blocking the number’s pointless too, cos they just switch it off and on again and get a brand new one.

Its an IVA firm getting numbers off info sellers. I rang them back and it was the wrong number. Then I found their call centre and got through. Told them I used to work for similar places and their managers really should tell staff not to try and persuade an FCA worker to get an IVA, especially when ive no debts. Called back, gave the agent’s supposed name, they just hung up and said they'd probably get sacked but doubt it. Best to steer clear but if you wanna mess about, it can waste about 10 mins of your time.

Picked up a call from a bloke with a heavy foreign accent, couldn’t make out what he was saying, then the line just cut off. He sounded quite menacing, like he was barking commands at me.

Total conman, first asked if I had any unpaid debts then started talking rubbish about the government helping me sort an IVA. I asked if he was even qualified in finance or knew what IVAs actually involved. He just told me to piss off and ended the call.
