The accent was really hard to follow and they definitely knew my name. They started rambling about blockchain stuff, which screamed scam to me. I didn’t even bother talking and just hung up, then blocked their number straight away.

Got a call on my landline from this number, which I reckon is a mobile. At first there was nothing but silence, then a recorded voice claimed someone had attempted to use my bank card on Amazon. I didn’t catch the other part coz I hung up straight away. Checked my bank app and I’m always notified about any transactions immediately. This is definitely a SCAM. Just don’t answer, simple as that. 😠
