Got a recorded message in that serious BBC news tone warning me my NI number was at risk. I just ended the call straight away. What a rubbish scam, really nasty stuff.

Just like many here, I got a text claiming to be from my bank. I'm pretty sure it's a scam, so I won't be replying. Better safe than sorry, I guess.

this woman rang me saying her name was maggie and claimed she was from rbs. since i actually have an account there, i didn’t really question it (though i was on quite a few painkillers then). she didn’t request any personal or bank info, just mentioned she wanted to check if i was managing alright with my finances during the covid situation. i’m certain it’s a scam, so watch out for calls like this.

Got a call from this number and the woman claimed she was ringing from the bank. I asked her which one, and she said it was “my bank.” When I pressed for specifics, she mentioned RBS, which happens to be right. But then she started trying to pitch some kind of product to me. I wasn’t interested, so I told her to email me the details so I could check it out. Of course, no email ever arrived. Pretty sure it was a scam since RBS wouldn’t call from a mobile starting with 07. In the end, I just ended the call. She never sent what I asked for anyway.

I let it ring on and it went straight to voicemail. The lady mentioned she was calling from the Royal Bank of Scotland, but I just deleted the message without replying.
