But, on the flip side, could he be connected to some extremist ideology or a fundamentalist group? It's rather odd to receive an unsolicited offer without any details regarding his expertise or interests. Am I overthinking it? He could be anything from a potential scammer to someone with rather dubious intentions. Either way, I’ve decided to ignore the message entirely.

For reasons that are quite unclear, we’ve been asked by this mobile number to send a text with our name in order to supposedly receive a call from someone claiming to be from HSBC.
