Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC, saying I was under investigation for not paying my taxes. Thing is, my employer handles all my tax stuff, so I knew straight away it was dodgy. I looked up the number and saw it had been linked to an Amazon scam before. Didn't bother going any further with that call.

I got a call from someone with an accent claiming to be from Amazon. Since there’s loads of scams floating about with people pretending to be from Amazon, I just told them I wasn’t interested, ended the call straight away, then blocked the number. Amazon’s only ever emailed me before, so I figured that was the safest move. I’ve already reported it to Amazon, and if they get in touch to confirm it was legit, I’ll update how I feel about the whole thing.
